Looking for things to do this weekend with your friends or family this weekend? CDA and Spokane have tons of fun attractions you don’t want to miss! Check out our list of things to do and places to see in the area. Enjoy!

Roller Skating. Take the fam to Skate Plaza for an afternoon. It’s a cheap activity, great exercise, and will likely wear out your kiddos to make for a relaxing evening. Located just north of Hwy 95/Dalton.

Bowling. Another fun option that works for all ages is a trip to Sunset Bowling Center. They also have a few arcade games, in case you or the kids need a short a break. Located just south of Government/Sunset.

Kroc Center. Float the Lazy River while your kids enjoy the water slides at the pool, or shoot some hoops, scale the rock climbing walls, or check out the board games in the Discovery Center. There is so much to do at the Kroc and it’s relatively cheap for the whole family! Not to mention, they have a great coffee stand. Located off of Ramsey/Golf Course Rd.

Hayden Discount CinemaWhat beats a $3 movie ticket?! Not much. Grab some treats at the concessions stand and relax for two hours under the big screen. Located behind the shopping center at Prairie/Government.

Triple Play. In addition to their amazing indoor water park, Triple Play offers fun attractions including laser tag, bumper cars, go-karts, bowling, miniature golf, bumper boats, a climbing wall, an arcade, and a ropes course! Go for a whole day or just an afternoon, or take the older kids in the evening for a discounted price. Located at Hwy 95/Orchard.

Fastkart Indoor Speedway. Need a thrill? Head over to Spokane and check them out. Fastkart Indoor Speedway is an “adrenaline rush” indoor go-kart racing company where their gas karts reach speeds of up to 30 MPH! Located only 45 minutes from CDA.

Silver Mountain ResortHome to some of the best winter recreation in the Northwest, the family fun never ends whether you enjoy snow tubing, skiing or snowboarding! Plan a day trip so that you can have fun in the snow in the morning and then unwind at Silver Rapids, Idaho’s largest indoor waterpark, in the afternoon. Located only 45 minutes from CDA in Kellogg.

Riverfront Park’s Ice Ribbon. Skaters can experience slight inclines and declines as they make their way around a path of ice surrounded by beautiful landscape, including a 3,500 square foot pond! You’ll also enjoy the large, cozy firepits throughout when you need a rest. The Ice Ribbon is programmed with activities like free ice skating lessons, cheap skate nights, themed dress-up events, happy hours, and more, so be sure to check out their Activities Calendar (click here to view). Located in Downtown Spokane.

Escape Rooms. Are you in to cracking codes and solving clues? Take a group of kids or friends and see if you have what it takes to escape the room in 60 minutes or less! Escape rooms are growing in popularity and there are several in our area now. We recommend Googling them to find out which room has the best theme that suits your personality.

Take a Hike. When it’s sunny outside, my kids and I hike around our property. We have such a blast! There are some fantastic hiking places in CDA and Spokane, so take advantage when the sun is shining and get outside!
