The snow has finally melted and we are loving spending every second we can outside. My kids and I went to four local parks last weekend and had a blast soaking in the sunshine. 

The Kootenai County housing market continues to surge but inventory is still very tight. Here is a housing snapshot of the activity in March 2019 from the CDA Association of Realtors.  

This tells us fewer homes have sold this year mainly due to fewer homes on the market. The homes that are available are selling FASTER than homes last year and at a HIGHER price, up 9% over March 2018. Kootenai County is such a hot place to live right now and it’s only going to get busier with summer just around the corner.

With inventory so limited, our team is going to extreme measures to find properties for our buyers. We are currently working with multiple active buyers and need YOUR help. Do you know anyone who has a property that matches this criterion?
  • Greg and Cindy are looking to relocate from Washington. They are looking for a home in Post Falls with at least 2,000 sq. ft. and a shop, priced between $500,000 – $900,000. 
  • Laura and Bruce are looking to relocate their family from CA to move closer to family in North Idaho. They are looking for a home with at least 4 beds/2 baths in a subdivision in Post Falls or Coeur d’Alene, priced under $425,000. 
  • Lisa desires to move back to her home state of Idaho and find a home in Hayden or Hayden Lake that is single level living, priced between $400,000 – $650,000. 
  • Kenny and Britni are in search of a CDA home for their 9-person family. The home doesn’t need to be large, but does need to have an open-concept main living area. Off-street parking and a garage are a must, and potential for rental space on the property is a huge plus. Budget is up to $500,000. 
  • Kevan is looking for several building lots in a row. He’d prefer to be in an area of entry-level homes or multi-family homes.
  • Michael is looking for about 5 acres of commercial property for a storage lot. Price is not much of a concern as long as it’s fair market value. The property needs to be well positioned for visibility and access, such as near a main road/arterial.
